The Just Energy Transition Project Management Unit successfully hosted three side events during COP 28 in Dubai, UAE. During the launch of the Just Energy Transition Implementation Plan 2023 - 2027, former Minister of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Barbara Creecy gave an opening address, while Minister Gwede Mantashe attended one of the sessions hosted at the South African pavillion.
