Jo works at the intersection of finance, leadership, and social impact, helping translate complex systems into meaningful, equitable outcomes.

Her professional background includes 14 years in investment banking at Absa Capital and RMB, where she led high-performing teams and served on RMB’s Investment Banking Executive Committee.

She currently serves as Funding Platform Manager within South Africa’s Just Energy Transition Project Management Unit (JET PMU), housed in the Presidency. Throughout her professional journey, she has remained deeply committed to leadership development and social change. Her experience includes chairing RMB’s diversity, inclusion and equality forum, serving on the board of Common Purpose South Africa (NPO), speaking in global educational programmes, and working as a professional business coach.

Across all her work she aims to foster deeper leadership capability, promote greater equality in the workplace, and support people and institutions to act as agents of meaningful change.
